It is with pleasure that we announce the opening of nominations for student names for the 2025 Overseas Industrial Training Program.
Therefore, UGS would like to request the cooperation of each faculty involved to nominate a list of students to undergo this program.
The student selection criteria are as follows:
- Students with KB status and a minimum Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50
- Local students only
- Comprised of a group of students who will register as Industrial Training students
- Students must not have any criminal records, disciplinary offense records, or warnings from UTM or local authorities. Students must have no restrictions on traveling abroad.
- Students who are active in extra-curricular activities at UTM. Priority will be given to those holding positions as MPP (Student Representative Council) or student association and residential college committee members; also those holding high positions in associations, clubs, or uniformed bodies they participate in.
- Students must possess good personality and self-presentation skills, and have written support from their Academic Advisor.
- Students who have an inclination towards research and intend to pursue Master’s and PhD level studies will be given priority.
UGS would also like to request the cooperation of the faculty to find suitable Industrial Training placements that align with the students’ fields of study at Universities/University Research Institutes listed within the Top 100 of the QS World Ranking.
