Workshop on the Timeline and Plan for MoU & MoA: Strengthening Strategic Partnerships through Knowledge Sharing

Skudai, 26 May 2025 – The Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), successfully organized a one-day workshop entitled “The Timeline and Plan for MoU & MoA”, held at PBL 1, M46. The session ran from 8.30 AM to 4.30 PM and was attended by academic and administrative staff from various departments.

The workshop was facilitated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mariyana Aida Ab Kadir, External & Global Engagement Manager, who shared her expertise on the procedures, strategic considerations, and best practices involved in establishing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA).

The session emphasized the importance of understanding the documentation timeline, the significance of drafting accurate agreements, and aligning collaborations with UTM’s strategic goals. Participants were also encouraged to bring their draft MoU/MoA/LoC for feedback and improvement.

The workshop fostered an engaging learning environment where participants actively discussed case scenarios, asked questions, and explored ways to enhance UTM’s global partnerships.
