Vice-Chancellor’s Visit to the Faculty of Civil Engineering (FKA)

The Faculty of Civil Engineering (FKA), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia had the honour of receiving an official visit from the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohd Shafry bin Mohd Rahim on 16th June 2025.
The session commenced with a welcoming speech by the Dean of FKA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suhaimi bin Abu Bakar @ Mohd Ramli, followed by a comprehensive presentation outlining the faculty’s organisational structure, key achievements for the year 2024, strategic plans for 2025, and a financial and budget overview.
In his brief remarks, the Vice-Chancellor expressed his appreciation for the faculty’s continuous dedication in advancing academic and research excellence. He also reaffirmed his full support for FKA’s strategic direction and aspirations moving forward.
Also present were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Prof. Ts. Dr. Edy Tonnizam Mohamad, and UTM Registrar, Dato’ Dr. Mohd Sharil bin Abdullah.

Kunjungan Naib Canselor ke Fakulti Kejuruteraan Awam (FKA)

Fakulti Kejuruteraan Awam (FKA), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia telah menerima kunjungan hormat daripada Naib Canselor, YBrs. Prof. Dr. Mohd Shafry bin Mohd Rahim pada 16 Jun 2025.
Sesi lawatan dimulakan dengan ucapan aluan oleh Dekan FKA, YBrs. Prof. Madya Dr. Suhaimi bin Abu Bakar @ Mohd Ramli, disusuli dengan pembentangan komprehensif mengenai struktur organisasi fakulti, pencapaian utama tahun 2024, pelan strategik tahun 2025 serta status kewangan dan bajet semasa fakulti.
Dalam ucapan ringkasnya, Naib Canselor merakamkan penghargaan atas usaha berterusan FKA dalam memacu kecemerlangan akademik dan penyelidikan. Beliau turut menyatakan sokongan penuh terhadap aspirasi serta halatuju strategik fakulti dalam memperkukuh sumbangan kepada universiti dan masyarakat.
Turut hadir dalam sesi ini ialah Timbalan Naib Canselor (Pembangunan), YBrs. Prof. Ts. Dr. Edy Tonnizam Mohamad serta Pendaftar UTM, YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Mohd Sharil bin Abdullah.
