
Program bertemakan “Shaping the Future of Innovation in Railway Technology” ini telah menghimpunkan ahli akademik, penyelidik, profesional industri serta pelajar dalam satu platform perkongsian ilmu, penyelidikan dan aplikasi teknologi rel.
Simposium RAIL TECH EXPO 2026 yang berlangsung di MJIIT, UTM Kuala Lumpur telah memberi tumpuan kepada perbincangan akademik dan teknikal berkaitan sistem rel, kejuruteraan pengangkutan serta penyelidikan terkini dalam bidang berkaitan. Sesi ini membuka ruang perbincangan ilmiah dan pertukaran idea antara akademia dan industri.
Manakala Pameran RAIL TECH EXPO 2026 yang diadakan di Fakulti Kejuruteraan Awam, UTM Johor Bahru telah mempamerkan pelbagai hasil penyelidikan, inovasi serta aplikasi teknologi rel, sekaligus memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar mengenai potensi kerjaya dan hala tuju industri rel pada masa hadapan.

Program ini dianjurkan oleh Fakulti Kejuruteraan Awam (FKA) dan dijayakan bersama Pavement and Transportation Research Group (PTRG). RAIL TECH EXPO 2026 dilihat sebagai satu platform penting dalam memperkukuh jaringan akademik–industri serta menyokong agenda pembangunan teknologi rel yang mampan dan berdaya saing.


RAIL TECH EXPO 2026, organised by the Faculty of Civil Engineering (FKA), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), was successfully held on 11 and 13 January 2026, featuring a symposium and exhibition focused on innovations and recent developments in railway and rail transportation technology.
Carrying the theme “Shaping the Future of Innovation in Railway Technology”, the programme brought together academics, researchers, industry professionals, and students on a shared platform for knowledge exchange, research dissemination, and discussion of practical applications in the rail sector.
The RAIL TECH EXPO 2026 Symposium, held at MJIIT, UTM Kuala Lumpur, centred on academic and technical discussions related to railway systems, transportation engineering, and current research advancements. The session fostered meaningful dialogue and idea exchange between academia and industry.
Meanwhile, the RAIL TECH EXPO 2026 Exhibition, hosted at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, UTM Johor Bahru, showcased various research outputs, innovations, and rail technology applications. The exhibition provided valuable exposure for students to emerging technologies and future career pathways within the railway industry.
Organised by the Faculty of Civil Engineering (FKA) and co-organised by the Pavement and Transportation Research Group (PTRG), RAIL TECH EXPO 2026 served as an important platform in strengthening academia–industry collaboration and supporting sustainable and competitive railway technology development.
