We were honoured to welcome Prof. Shane Snyder, a globally renowned expert in environmental engineering, particularly in the areas of contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) monitoring, bioassays, and water and wastewater treatment. Prof. Snyder currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of ACS ES&T Water and was formerly an Editor of Chemosphere journal.
During his engaging session, Prof. Snyder generously shared valuable tips and strategies for publishing in high-impact Q1 journals, specifically tailored for academic staff and postgraduate students. His insights covered crucial aspects of the publishing process, including how authors can select appropriate reviewers and navigate the editorial process to increase the likelihood of their manuscript progressing to the peer review stage.
His depth of experience and practical advice provided attendees with a clearer understanding of the expectations and standards of top-tier scientific journals.
