To ensure a smooth academic submission process and to avoid any technical complications or integrity issues, the Faculty of Civil Engineering (FKA) kindly requests all faculty members to strictly adhere to the official Turnitin usage guidelines.
Lecturers are requested to constantly remind their respective students regarding the following rules:
DO’s

Use UTM Email: Ensure that your Turnitin Student Account is registered strictly using your official UTM email.

Obtain Official Class ID: Get your Turnitin Class ID directly from your respective lecturers, supervisors, or the faculty.

Keep Submission Records: Always keep the Submission ID received via email for proof and future reference.
DON’Ts

No External Accounts: Do not use a non-UTM Turnitin account to submit your academic works.

Prohibit 3rd Parties: Never use third-party services to check or submit your works.

Do Not Delete Records: Do not delete your Submission IDs from your Student Account or email to ensure tracking capability.
Special Attention for Lecturers
The responsibility of verification falls under your supervision. BEFORE verifying and confirming your students’ Turnitin reports, lecturers are required to:

Ensure that students strictly follow the guidelines mentioned above.

Verify the students’ email registration details and account usage history.

PERINGATAN PENTING: GARIS PANDUAN PENGGUNAAN TURNITIN UNTUK PELAJAR & PENSYARAH
Assalamualaikum dan Salam Sejahtera,
Bagi memastikan kelancaran proses penghantaran penulisan akademik dan mengelakkan sebarang kesulitan teknikal atau isu integriti, pihak Fakulti Kejuruteraan Awam (FKA) memohon kerjasama semua warga fakulti untuk mematuhi garis panduan rasmi penggunaan Turnitin.
Para pensyarah dimohon untuk sentiasa mengingatkan pelajar seliaan masing-masing berkenaan ketetapan berikut:
Perkara Yang Perlu Dilakukan (DO’s)

Gunakan E-mel UTM: Pastikan pendaftaran Akaun Pelajar Turnitin dibuat menggunakan e-mel rasmi UTM sahaja.

Dapatkan ID Kelas Rasmi: Dapatkan ID Kelas (Class ID) Turnitin yang sah secara terus daripada pensyarah, penyelia, atau pihak fakulti.

Simpan Rekod Penghantaran: Simpan ID Penghantaran (Submission ID) yang diterima melalui e-mel sebagai bukti dan rujukan pada masa hadapan.
Perkara Yang Dilarang (DON’Ts)

Tiada Akaun Luar: Jangan gunakan akaun Turnitin selain daripada akaun rasmi UTM untuk menghantar hasil kerja anda.

Haramkan Pihak Ketiga: Jangan sesekali menggunakan khidmat pihak ketiga (3rd party) untuk menyemak atau menghantar tugasan anda.

Jangan Padam Rekod: Dilarang memadam ID Penghantaran daripada Akaun Pelajar atau e-mel anda bagi tujuan semakan rekod.
Perhatian Khusus Untuk Pensyarah
Tanggungjawab pengesahan terletak di bawah penyeliaan anda. SEBELUM mengesahkan laporan Turnitin pelajar, para pensyarah diwajibkan untuk:

Memastikan pelajar mematuhi sepenuhnya garis panduan di atas.

Menyemak butiran pendaftaran e-mel dan sejarah penggunaan akaun pelajar.
