Makassar, 27 Mei 2025 โ Delegasi dari Fakulti Kejuruteraan Awam (FKA), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)telah mengadakan lawatan akademik rasmi ke Jabatan Kejuruteraan Awam, Universitas Hasanuddin (UNHAS) di Makassar, Sulawesi, dari 23 hingga 27 Mei 2025.
Delegasi ini diketuai oleh Ts. Dr. Azman Mohamed bersama enam penyelidik dari Pavement & Transportation Research Group (PTRG) dan seorang penyelidik dari Geotechnical Research Group (GRG). Tujuan utama lawatan ini adalah untuk memperkukuh kolaborasi penyelidikan antarabangsa, pertukaran ilmu, dan penglibatan akademik khususnya dalam bidang kejuruteraan jalan, pengangkutan dan geoteknik.
๐ Sorotan utama ialah Simposium Antarabangsa Kejuruteraan Infrastruktur pada 24 Mei di Kampus Kejuruteraan UNHAS, Gowa, bertemakan:
โUNHAS-UTM on Infrastructure Engineering: Sustainable Solutions for Resilient Infrastructure on Transportation and Geotechnicsโ.
Simposium ini menghimpunkan 18 pembentang dari 6 negara yang berkongsi penyelidikan dan inovasi teknologi dalam kejuruteraan infrastruktur tropika dan negara sedang membangun.

๐ UTM Faculty of Civil Engineering Strengthens Ties with Universitas Hasanuddin, Makassar
Makassar, May 27, 2025 โ A delegation from the Faculty of Civil Engineering (FKA), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) embarked on an official academic visit to the Department of Civil Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin (UNHAS) in Makassar, Sulawesi, from 23 to 27 May 2025.
Led by Ts. Dr. Azman Mohamed, the team comprised six researchers from the Pavement & Transportation Research Group (PTRG) and one from the Geotechnical Research Group (GRG). The visit aimed to strengthen international collaboration in research and academic exchange, particularly in pavement, transportation, and geotechnical engineering.
๐ The highlight was the International Symposium on Infrastructure Engineering, held on 24 May at UNHAS Gowa Campus. With the theme:
โUNHAS-UTM on Infrastructure Engineering: Sustainable Solutions for Resilient Infrastructure on Transportation and Geotechnicsโ,
the symposium featured 18 presenters from 6 countries, showcasing current research and technological advances in tropical and developing regions.
