Today, on 28 November 2021, as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project by Geotechnical Research Group members, fieldwork is underway to investigate and provide a solution for the slope failure at Kolej Tun Ghaffar Baba (KTGB), UTM. The tasks include analyzing Slope gradient, Terrain components, and conducting Erosion and stability assessments. Equipment utilized comprises a compass with a distometer, GPS, digital camera, rangefinders, and measurement tools. Additionally, Topography Survey using 3D Terrestrial Laser Scanning Survey work was conducted to gain insight into the slope terrain at Kolej Tun Ghafar Baba. Furthermore, a Topography Survey using a drone equipped with a camera is being conducted to generate 3D models of the landslide failure site.
