Laboratory

The department is equipped with three laboratories, namely teaching laboratory, analytical laboratory, and research laboratory. Teaching laboratory is used for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in courses which involved laboratory exercise.  Analytical laboratory houses advanced analytical equipment such as Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analyzer, UV spectrophotometer, and HACH spectrophotometer. Research laboratory comprised of small rooms and open area bench-top used by research students in conducting their research.

Since environmental problems normally involved more than one discipline, research collaboration between faculties and universities either local and abroad is a common practice. Additionally, research facilities and advanced analytical equipment within the university are being shared and optimized among the researchers.
